Well, hello there!
Thanks for stopping by.
If you’re here, it’s probably because you are interested in travel. Specifically, cheap, accessible, slow, close to home adventures.
If so, you’re in the right place!
I spent years perfecting the art of 9-5 travel and adventure through hiking, camping, car camping, swimming etc. And now I’m sharing it with you!
How much do we have in common?

My biggest dream at the moment is to own a dog to bring on all my adventures to keep me company!

For me it’s gotta be a day outdoors taking photos and hiking. I love spending time alone and creating quietly in nature. Bonus points for lovely sunny weather, a pretty swim spot and a gorgeous sunset to end the day. Oh and of course a delicious meal waiting for me at the end!

Ooh for me it’s definitely a bravery issue. I’m a lot better than I was, but I’m still so scared of silly things! I’m actively working on improving that aspect of my life so that fear isn’t in the driver’s seat. I over-think things to death. For example, If i see a nice swimming spot I might not get in alone because my brain will play out so many bad situations that are unlikely to ever happen. A friend of mine did a solo cycle trip across Europe recently and now she is my number one role model!

My bucket list used to involve solo backpacking around the world, or doing vanlife. Eventually I realized that this lifestyle would never really meet my needs. I am a bit of a home body and love a place that’s mine to return to at the end of the day.
My bucket list is now way more “slow”. I have always wanted to live abroad, I would love to build a business for myself to escape the 9-5 and I would love to have more time to hike, swim and road trip. Oh and don’t forget that dog I mentioned earlier! 🐾
